About Us
The Novus Foundation was formed in 2006, a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Wahroonga and The McCarroll Automotive Group.
These two organisations originally came together with the intention of developing and supporting projects directed at the welfare of youth in the District of Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai. Since then the Novus Foundation has raised over $515,000 for a variety of different organisations that are investing in our youth.
In creating the Novus Foundation, the board has determined that it will concentrate on matters which impact young people and their ability to perform to their natural level of capability. By doing this, we want to ensure that the next generation of young adults can take their place in society using their technical and leadership skills to the full, not limited by ill health, lack of training or shortage of opportunity.
Each year it is our hope that, supported by members of the community on Sydney’s North Shore and further afield, we can continue to raise funds to support organisations that are strengthening our younger generation.
The Rotary Club of Wahroonga has over 60 members and meets every Wednesday morning at 7.15am for breakfast at the Warrawee Bowling Club. The club is very active in the community. New members are very welcome to the club. Please visit here for more information.
The McCaroll’s Automotive Group operates motor dealerships representing Toyota, Lexus, Citroen, Hyundai, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Volkswagen vehicles on Sydney’s North Shore and enjoys supporting local charities and special causes. Please visit here for more information.
The work of the Foundation is showcased in our recently released Community Report. Click here to view it.
